The development and evolution of Wikipedia is a unique cooperative process of the Humanity. This is one of the most fascinating collective processes which has extremely usefull outcome. However not all articles are equally reliable and complete most of them are barely more than stubs.

The aim of this thesis is twofold, first the student is invited to create a model based on observations namely, that most of the edits in Wikipedia are not real content edits but more maintenance edits with aim to correct small inaccuracies, improve grammar or change layout to conform Wikipedia standards. The second aim is to develop and verify recently proposed self consistent measures which can predict articles of high value wihtout the very resource hungry veryfication by experts.
